The Hope for Today Devotional takes you on a ten week journey that took me years to travel. During this interview we did not get past Week One Day One, "God Is Doing A New Thing - Isaiah 43:18-19" but then again that is where my journey of restoration and forgiveness began. As soon as I began to declare Victory in Jesus the devil would once again claim his position in the battlefield of my mind thus Week Two - "The Devil Is A Liar". I had to learn how to recognize satan's attacks and apply the power of the blood of Jesus Christ to be an over-comer. The journey continues with Week Three - "God Is My Protector" and Week Four - "Jesus Loves Me"! Week Five - "God Is Faithful To His Word", Week Six - "God Is Always With Me", Week Seven - "God Is My Redeemer And Defender", Week Eight - "I Am Forgiven", Week Nine - "God Is All Powerful" and Week Ten - "My Life Has Purpose And Meaning"!! The fact that I continue to wake every morning and face a brand new day is proof that God has a purpose for my life, and the same is true for you.

Annette wrote this song right after her mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. She is cancer free today - Praise God!
